The program’s five themes (see below in the schedule) are designed to take you on a journey to remember who you have always been. At the end of the journey, you will own your purpose, passion and the unique footprint you leave on your environment.

The number of guests is limited to 8 to create a warm and friendly atmosphere and to ensure that everyone gets a personalised experience.

Join life coach Julie for a week long joyful living experience in Auroville, the inspiring and magical forest city in Tamil Nadu, South India.

In a warm and supportive group, we will explore how to be the change that you want to see.

Julie will facilitate the retreat using life coaching techniques to create insights and answers, and to get you committed to put them into practice and transform your life.

Learn to turn from reactive into proactive, and to be a changemaker, in your family, in your work, in the world.

Julie used to have a busy corporate job in London. Once she learned to see her essence and focus on her unique set of skills, she became more successful at her job while working less. Eventually she started her own coaching practice so she could live her passion. Now Julie feels she is living her life purpose: to be the heart beat that attunes you to your inner frequency. 

Julie combines her management consulting background with a thorough understanding of personal growth and coaching. She has a keen interest in nutrition and eastern spirituality, which has led her to spend most of the last 3 years in India practicing yoga and meditation.

This will take place in Auroville, a place of unending education and an experiment in human unity. Auroville has won international acclaim for its efforts in social and environmental sustainability, and has developed innovative techniques in bodywork & healing.

Auroville is an international community with over 2000 people from around 50 different countries. Located 8km from Pondicherry, 3 hours drive from Chennai city/airport (150km) along the scenic East Coast Road (ECR) and 8 hours by an AC sleeper bus from Bangalore (350km).

The participation fees for this residential retreat is INR 9000. This includes yoga, meditation and workshop sessions as indicated in the schedule below. We offer a 10% discount on this price (viz. INR 8,100) if you have worked with Julie in the past. At the end of the retreat you will receive a certificate of participation. For Aurovilians, the retreat is on a contribution basis.

Accommodation and food for the duration of the retreat, is INR 8,800 for a room with attached bathroom, or INR 5,800 for a room with shared bathroom. This includes 3 vegetarian meals a day, as well as a welcome dinner prior to the retreat.

Joyful Living is a residential retreat for 5 nights & 5 days in the serene Center Guest House. 

It offers a simple, healthy lifestyle where you can nourish yourself with delicious local food and regenerate in a healthy sustainable environment.

The atmosphere in the Center Guest House is welcoming and hospitable. The Guest House is centrally located in Auroville.

Each day at the retreat includes a morning yoga and meditation session and two interactive workshops on the Joyful Living theme of the day.

You will also have plenty of time for relaxing and exploring Auroville. Julie facilitates the workshops using life coaching techniques to create insights and find your own answers, as well as get you committed and accountable to put them into practice and transform your life.
