• Freedom in Inquiry

“The Work of Byron Katie” with Jaishree

This two-day workshop retreat will give you a foundation and basic grounding in the simple yet powerful process that is “The Work of Byron Katie”. The Work is a process of inquiry that consists of four simple questions designed to help one understand the source of one’s suffering: one’s own limited thinking. Suffering is optional!

The workshop will help you identify your stressful thoughts, put them on paper, and then take them to inquiry. Inquiry brings awareness, and with awareness comes freedom from suffering. War in the world can end when war in the mind gives way to peace.

This retreat is for adults of age 18 and above. There is no maximum age limit! Prior knowledge or experience using The Work of Byron Katie is not required to attend. This two-day workshop will give you a tool for life to discover and work through limiting beliefs relating to any type of stressful situation – be it at home, in the workplace, or out in the world – on your own.

Discover the key to understanding your true nature - when your thoughts, words, and actions are in alignment with what is. Freedom begins in the mind!

"The Work" was founded by Byron Katie, an American woman now in her 70's, when she experienced a life-changing realisation in 1986. Since then, she has guided millions of people to discover the same freedom for themselves through inquiry.

This is probably the first time that a workshop on The Work of Byron Katie is being held in India to the general public. While this powerful process is popular in the west, it is not yet as well known in India. Participants will have support post-workshop to keep The Work alive in their lives through an online community as well as a group conference call. In the future, interested participants can attend topic-based or longer intensives on The Work as and when they are held.

Instead, I recommend that you seek the services of a professional who can help you with that, such as a mental health counselor or psychiatrist." Jaishree (facilitator)
